I don’t think who was in who’s spots was really thought of for the Rook AU, aside from Rook being in Frisks spot, and Rin being Toriel/Asgore– -Ana did a few drabbles on it, it was p. cool

I just know that it was something like Kai realized they were getting worse, and somehow managed to grant some non-corruptive power to Rin so she could protect the rest of the inhabitants from them.

When Rook fell, Kai took the form of a flower (cat’s possible too, but seemed flower mainly)

offf course though in knowing who Rook’s father was since I assume before all of that happened Kachessa told them…. they’d wind up using it to kind of tempt Rook, since it’s likely the demon side of Rook would be reacting to the corruption in the area or somethin’

but I don’t think who everyone else would be was decided at all? Hmmm.

note: my memory is poor so I might be incorrect, but. I swear I remember it as such

Len being in Asgore’s spot for the ‘game time’ in the Mint AU was actually out of. Not having anyone to fill Asgors spot, since Kai ended up in Sans’s. Len was almost a slight joke suggestion, but then I ended up thinking of how that’d happen and, welp, there we go.

Rin being in Toriel’s space I think was before that? So that likely factored in too. Her going to the runes isn’t out of her being mad at Len though, but more worried and uncomfortable over the whole thing— and how the majority of Androids/Bots closer to New Home were on Len’s side in the usurping.

The ironic thing is Len’s personality became closer to Alexander’s in Hamilton, since the war to pre-’game’ ended up almost becoming a semi-Hamilton AU since me and Ariel got into Hamilton at the same time– or well, inspired is a better way to say it. Except the war wasn’t won. Oops.

Given though, Androids don’t fall as easily as Monsters could. They’re androids, and even though magic is still relevant in this and androids channeled magic better, they aren’t as fragile and wouldn’t fade to dust.

tbh Kai and Rin could fit in various base-spots too

They could easily be like Chara and Asriel— though that would bring the question of who’d be in the basic Toriel and Asgore spots, but. It’s a feels-fitting thing. …. also I guess that’d imply a Flowey Rin which… sounds sad.

Kai could be a Toriel since they can be the mom-friend but also— protective, potentially overly so— or Asgore given as well, like they were for a while in the Mint AU before Len usurped them.

The Sans placing I think mainly came from the ‘remembering timelines’ thing? And base idea of a battle with them when they’re actually trying being Really, Really Hard and dying a lot during it would be fitting. And then it just kinda expanded from there.

Mettaton’s a bit of a joke thought, since they can be flamboyant as well, and mainly just goes with looks since, well, thanks to Mettaton’s hair and how people drew it Kai’s hair looks as it does now,

Kai in a Flowey position could be possible too even if not in an Asriel situation, given their corruption. They’re in a Flowey position in the Rook AU, and Rin’s like… a mix of Toriel and Asgore in it too.

Rin could be in a Toriel place, like she is in the Mint AU and kinda-Rook AU, partially since it’s cute to imagine her guiding whoever’s in the Frisk-place through the ruins, along with also wanting to take care of whoever falls there, and also not wanting them to get hurt or killed…

Alphys is a slight possibility too with the geekiness and anxiety– though with everything else, that’s sad to think about…

I could see her in a Papyrus-like role too, if Kai’s in a Sans one. though I guess also if Len’s in that spot too, but either way. Less I’M THE GREATEST and more just generally peppy though, probably…

and I suppose this isn’t even considering the various swaps that are around Undertale, though if there’d be swaps to other roles I’d prefer it be more inverted fate-y as opposed to totally switched personalities or somethin’

really though, there’s never too many undertale au’s

and my way of showing love for something is crossing it over with vocaloid

and there are multiple interpretations of vocaloids not even just among our muses so,

think about it. Be creative, there are Endless Possibilities, and I’m just thinking with base UT too, not even going into the multiple AU’s out there for UT already which could just add to this,

so with talking with Aisu ideas for like, modules in an undertale situation came to mind

she doodled a lot of them so I decided to also doodle gaster Genius

He’s probably not scattered among time and space in this case

I’ve been wanting to do some fams drawings, so I pushed myself to draw some Kaitou, and Kaitou with Kai and Rin for just that, yes. Need more fams interacting together.

Also I haven’t done a colored Kaitou drawing in forever so,

I also only occasionally draw Neopets nowadays when I used to literally alllllll the time when I was so, so, so, so small. I’m talking 8~10/11 years old at least. I seem to go back to check it out every other summer…

Even if I don’t go back to it often anymore, it’d be cool to develop my pets as characters…
