random unfinished things from the past few days… week? idek time is an illusion that i can’t keep track of anymore

i’ve managed to push myself to kind of work on some things, but haven’t been able to bring myself to finish them, or even do some of them well >stares at the second one

I actually might push Will’s age — to even older—

mainly because. turns out in their world the steampunk-y era would of happened….. or at least started in the 1600′s/1700′s

so…….. dirt man is old as dirt

😶- someone they trust

For Rin, she trusts most of her family! Sonika, Ritsu, Len, their Masuta, Mayu, Lapis, Kiyoteru…. her pals Miku and Rana… also Luka! And, of course, she does very much trust in Kai.

Kai uh… … is more. Hesitant. Though… not in considering them all untrustworthy, but just uh…. they don’t exactly have the best relationship with most of the rest of the family. Exceptions being Kiyoteru. Luka also, Miku and Rana as well by virtue of being Rin’s friends, and trusts them enough to take care of her too. And, of course, they do trust Rin a bunch.

…not that they don’t still hide some things, but… it’s not anything having to do with Rin’s trust.

(also, Kachessa and Rook. They both definitely trust them.)

Kai : 🌱- Gender and pronouns

Agender! Mostly prefers they/them, but also knows in being a Kaito that people would more likely default to he/him, and they– don’t really correct those people often either due to just not wanting to make a hassle out of it, as they see it.

doesn’t mean they aren’t kinda bothered by it but–

🌼- what calms them down

Playing Animal Crossing for Rin tbh. Also, generally listening to some of those nice relaxing songs while sprawling on either her bed or beanbag helps calm her.

Ice cream legitimately helps calm Kai down, as well as sitting and reading. Also, you know songs like this? That helps them too. And, even when Very Much Not Calm, Rin’s hugs tend to calm them down and helps a lot.

🐱- what are they afraid of

Rin has a huge fear of storms, kinda like their Masuta does. She also just… generally has anxiety and ends up worrying a bunch about messing up, tripping up, doing something wrong, making something worse, even if she doesn’t show it.

Kai fears eventually hurting Rin. That at some point, given glitches and corruption, they’d do something even more regrettable than they have, that would either end with her hurt or worse. Along with that, that with glitches and corruption, that they’d lose themself to it.

Also, that Rin would eventually see them the way they see themself.

…Also, bees. And needles.

🎮- favorite video game (if they play any)

Rin fucking LOVES Pokemon yo

She also did get into FNAF as well as Undertale. Undertale is basically a Huge Big Permanent Fave, along with Pokemon.

(tbh she plays a lot of games in general but, those are specific Big Faves)

Kai….. mainly goes along with whatever Rin really really likes at the moment. Specifically goes to look the info and stuff up to be able to talk with her about it and do stuff having to do with them with her.

😑- what makes them angry

well, treating others like they’re only objects is one way to get both of them mad at you

though with Rin it’s— REALLY HARD to get her like. ACTUALLY angry at you. You’ve gotta be a huge-ass jerkbutt to do so.

…on that note that would also include talking bad about someone she cares about, but that’s like… run of the mill makes anyone angry.

Taking Kai’s ice cream is also, unironically, as silly as it sounds, one way to ask for a death wish

Hurting Rin is another, or messing with her negatively in general

also… it’s not exactly anger, but calling them a ‘demon’ or ‘monster’ outright does… or can, lead to a bad reaction. It’s a weird thing.

There’s likely other things, especially since Kai has a…. bit of a temper, but. You don’t want them mad at you anyway, you’d be asking for a bad time.

😊 How does Kaito feel about Rin and vise versa

Kai thinks Rin is a wonderful ray of sunshine, and legitimately cares for their little sister quite a lot. She’s like, the most important of anything or anyone to them, period. They want to make sure she stays safe and happy.

…. ‘Course, they have doubts if being ‘safe and happy’ would really be possible around them, but. That’s getting into their own view of themself and that’s not what this ask is about asdfghj

…Though on THAT note, Rin probably views them better than they view themself. Rin believes in them, and she loves her big brother a bunch. She wants them to see the good in themself, too.

The two trust each other a lot, and are pretty close.

💤- what are their sleeping habits

Rin tends to actually be a little nocturnal, or go in cycles of being kinda nocturnal and then TRYING to fix her sleep schedule and waking up at decent times but then, slipping out of it.

Basically her sleep schedule is a mess. But, at least when she DOES go to sleep she falls asleep pretty quickly! She also tends to have a few plushes on her bed that she occasionally hugs while dozing off too.

Now, Kai?

Kai doesn’t sleep.

…I don’t mean like insomnia exactly either, I mean they literally can’t sleep, save for specific situations. So. Not many habits to be made there.

In the past when they COULD sleep though, they actually used to have a good schedule, managed to sleep decently, and. Was a hell of a sleep clinger.

But again. Nowadays, they can’t sleep, literally can’t, so.

🚲- how often they go outside

Rin goes outside pretty often actually! She goes around the city and other areas semi-frequently— though she does prefer staying inside to draw/play video games/the like more hahaha. Her friends(Miku, Rana specifically) kinda make sure she goes out more often though.

Kai, meanwhile……… not so much. Which is ironic considering what the area they live in is to them, but like. They pretty much hide away in their mansion more often than not, unless Rin manages to pull them out.

There was also the ‘songs they relate to/you relate to them’ one but, tbh I’d probably make a separate post for that if I wanted to.

Okay, but like, bear with me—

what if around the time William wasn’t corrupted

What if those old times were like— Steampunky for Kai and Rin’s world—

I mean– steampunk is cool as heck their world is quite advanced even in being ‘present time’, and steampunk is like— all of that technology but in like… what, late 1800′s? I’ve seen 1920′s too and such? so…….

Also, that would definitely be a big reason why Kaiessa would be interesting as heck to him— like, that’s not even Cyborg-y, that’s— literally the two completely mixed together entirely—

He’s clearly old, but like. How old?

I know I said born in the 1900′s/1910′s or something but I’m– not sure.

I know he would of been alive likely during the 1920′s— as an adult… so maybe that’d be like… born earlier than 1900….

 It’s possible he got corrupted around the same time?

Though the problem is I’d probably need to do a lot of research around those times— and NOT ONLY THAT there’s the fact that world is— considering how Vocaloids are in it, very much highly advanced, they’re in the same year as us, but very clearly technology advanced far, far faster/earlier there than it did here.

And such things— wouldn’t that effect the history of that world? When did some of the technological booms happen, the gradual increase, ect– not to mention other things

but I do know that before being chosen and being corrupted he likely worked with the robotics/such things of the time

And likely only with the intention of the robotics as pure tools/servants/sorta things. Not for the intention of being sentient or ridiculously human or anything, and likely is why he kept the views he did of androids— like I said in an older post,
