Doodle that came up from an old thought resurfacing–

Kai is able to ‘change’ their own form, but when doing so, their colors remain.

(’change’ being either illusions or shapeshifting or a mix of both or whatnot– outright shapeshifting takes a lot more energy though.  Them looking ‘normal’ is kind of a mix of both, but also easier in general since that’s kind of a. Given thing)

This is an example of that– Them looking like Rin, but their hair/eye/skin/mouth color ect.

Clothes don’t count in that though, that can be whatever. Just mainly the ‘body’.

(regardless of if it’s shapeshifting or illusions though,them going into that form looks the same– glitching into it, basically)

(also: this is the same even with non-humanoids, like if they change into/make themself look like a cat, they’d be a dark blue furred cat, or any other type of animal)

i’ll ramble about the scarf arms, too

The scarf arms aren’t the scarf itself, but. Basically otherworldly limbs that essentially use it as a glove?

The extra arms, without the scarf, both look weird and have a big sense off off-ness to them, and feel really freaking weird too. 

They’re almost kind of like shapened, hardened BR goop stuff, but also not quite? But clearly related. I kinda use the static texture since it’s fitting for Kai but also fitting for the arms off-ness too.

When going through the scarf though, none of that is apparent– I mean, aside from scarf arms being a weird thing anyway. They look like scarf, just– moving, can extend out very far,and such– but they don’t feel or look inherently off. They look like scarf, feel like scarf, act like it– though they are more durable than a scarf alone and keep the unnatural superstrength. A drawback is that even so, the scarf can still be torn or ripped as a scarf-arm, which– also feels Incredibly weird and uncomfortable to Kai, but couldn’t really be considered ‘pain’.

If the scarf is damaged though, the actual BR arms can still come out of it– just, only partially covered by the scarf. Ala the doodle from the previous post.

The BR arm itself is hard to really damage– especially since it can reform itself too. In kind of looking like the goop, it’s also able to act more like a goopy substance too– while normally solid, it sometimes drips a bit, and if its holding onto something– if Kai chooses– is could also start causing the person or thing to sink into it. If the person totally sinks into it, they end up in Kai’s personal BR void. Which– isn’t really a good thing, since if you’re in there, there’s a chance of getting assimilated into Kai which uh– is another post entirely that I might never get to.(It’s a bit on-off though, and depends on what the person has or how they are– it’s more likely with other KAITO’s though. The assimilation isn’t really Kai’s choice either– it’s something their BR does and chooses on its own, even if still (usually) based on some of Kai’s desires.)

In Phase 3, they gain an extra set of these too– which can go between being shaped as hands or being shaped as weird, jagged ‘mouths’.

throughout different possibilities, Kai’s relationship with Third could go from being actually really good, to….. really bad, depending on how things get handled.

…main-verse is closer to starting at the ‘really bad’ end, though, given uh… what happened.

and even without BR, if it went exactly the same but like. without the br situation. that could of been really bad too with Kai acting like an Outright Dick towards him for a little while. (at least until they get some god damn sense knocked into them. jealousy isn’t a good look, Kai)

If the situation was dealt with better though, and actually explained— things would of gone so much better. They would of accepted him as a ‘little’ brother if things just got sat down and explained before it reached a peak.

And as things are now in current-time… …their feelings on that situation grew more and more complicated as the sins started crawling on their back.

Meanwhile, the Undertale AU is like. Very much on the Very Good end of the spectrum, the two got along super well, they were great siblings and…

… haha, that just makes what happens worse, huh.

I’m gonna copy-paste the ramblings from my personal that came up bc Classpect thoughts —on Kai and thinking of Time and Space in a ssssssslight homestuck sense

“I still kind of associate Kai with time stuff to an extent, even if that old god tier was from a very old early test, and they’ve changed a bunch meta-wise to where Space makes more sense for them now, especially with the new aspect info and stuff

fits anyway since BR is also mostly space-y reality stuff on that end, with a sprinkling of Time when it comes to being able to be aware of alternate timelines/verses(not actively— but they /can/ be. It’s more like a ‘can be accessed by focus/meditation’ thing), and some other stuff (ripple-proof memory, part of the pocket dimension works)

but those are like, sprinklings. They actual powers and abilities ties more into space and reality bending/warping/breaking sorta stuff with BR“

Hi I’m gonna ramble about Kai’s mansion bc I feel like it?

Kai’s mansion is pretty much the center, or heart, of the pocket dimension.

…though don’t get any ideas, destroying it won’t destroy the place, that’d just piss Kai off.

Which— isn’t the direction I was gonna go with this post but it came to mind uh

ANYWAY

It’s a big ol’. Eldritch location-y place. Bigger on the inside, changes a LOT on the inside. Rooms change, number of rooms change, types and sizes, windows where they don’t make sense– if you punch the wall hard enough to actually break a hole in(which is damn hard unless you have like super strength), you’d only see Void in the hole

There are set areas though– the living room, kitchen, Rin’s room, Kai’s room, and the Library.

The library is – again, super big. Like, really big. Bigger than it should be. Some of the books might not even be ‘real’? Or might be empty. But, those are the ones more out of reach. The ones in reach are likely all real books— that. Kai likely doesn’t really know where they came from but won’t complain either way ASDFGFD

(in reality— they ARE an android from a very advanced world– the books might be based on stuff that could be found online as ebooks or somethin’ made physical, I don’t know– this is all big handwaving and me pondering)

The pathways to these rooms GENERALLY stay the same– but sometimes change. Rin’s room is generally on the ground floor, but– especially once they’re all aware of what Kai can do– can sometimes lead to the balcony. Kai’s room is generally on the ‘second’ floor, or a top floor. The library can be accessed from both. 

It’s incredibly possible to get lost in the mansion, though– but. Mainly if Kai is wanting to mess with you, or doesn’t want you there. They can trap you in the mansion to wander the repeating, winding, seemingly endless halls filled with empty guest rooms and such things. If they’re really wanting to mess with you, they can make it go straight up P.T. or something of the like.

They can also basically add any kind of rooms they want, if the thought comes to mind. Someone suggest a theatre? A theatre can be in there. Indoor pool? That could be possible too. Ect ect

also, random fact about Kai’s scarf, relevant in any ‘verse that’s post-br or post-Equivilant: they can still move their scarf around with making it look total scarf arm-y

Like, that first doodle, even if it’s— hard to tell bc messy doodle, the scarf is on Kou kinda like a blanket, but it’s not hand-y.

You are a peaceful individual, usually preferring to be on your own, and can be somewhat materialistic, leaning material sources (i.e. food, games, books, money) instead of other people for comfort.

speaking of nigaito, how those specific derivatives came to be has also been changed

which is helpful, since I never thought of how to fit them in pre-everything

won’t change anything about them or how they act, just how they came up

maybe this could lead to fitting Kageito on too… hmm.
