So, fighting game taunts/dialogue things. For Kai and averson/a couple of his modes, as well as Yandekai and Rin.

Kai:

<BEFORE FIGHT> 1) Hn. So you’re really doing this? Very well. 2) You don’t want to be in my way. 3) You should leave now.

<VICTORIES> 1) I’m not sure what other outcome you were expecting. 2) Pitiful. 3) How unfortunate. 4) Hahahaha….

<LOSS> 1) Ah, isn’t this interesting? Congratulations. 2) [/laying on the floor, pulls out a book. ] I see. You beat me. 3) My, you really are quite good.

Rin:

<TAUNTS> 1) Don’t be goin’ easy on me—!! 2) Are you okay—?? 3) I wasn’t expectin’ to hit THAT hard….

<BEFORE FIGHT> 1) Ah–! D-did I go on makin’ ya mad to want this…? I’m sorry…! 2) O-oh– uhm— I– I won’t go easy on ya! 3) Can’t we go on solvin’ this another way…?

<VICTORIES> 1) A-ah…! A-are you okay, I didn’t go on hurtin’ ya too much right?? 2) I’m not gonna go on bein’ a victim again… 3) Ah, forgive me…!

<LOSS> 1) I-I’m sorry, I’m sorry…. 2) [/small rin noise] 3) I-if K-kai-nii sees this… p-please, go before he does!

Yandekai:

<VICTORY> 1) [/says nothing, but just stares down at the person, potentially red eyed but also a bit distraught looking. ] 2) See… you won’t… you won’t do this again, right? 3) Did you think… I would be a pushover…?

<LOOSE> 1) Nnn… nn… [/holding hand over face, eyes might be flickering ] 2) I’m… I’m glad… 3) You’re… really good, huh?

trickster Kai:

<TAUNTS> 1) Hahahahahahaha!! [/pretty much just laughs, maybe spinning a bit. ] 2) Awwww!!! Come on, this is how you wanted to play, isn’t iiiiiit isn’t it isn’t it?! 3) Don’t you wanna have F U N?

<BEFORE FIGHT> 1)[/dark expression.] Aaaah, you want T H I S kind of F U N… 2) Hahaha! This kind of game? I don’t mind! 3) Are you suuuuuure you wanna do thiiiiiis?

<VICTORY> 1) HAHAHA! The great Mansion Kaito is the victor! [/does a bowing. ] Please, please, you’re tooooooo kind~ 2 )[/creepy grin. ] Maybe this game was T O O O O O O M U C H for you, hmmmm? 3) Awwww, I won! I was hoping you’d win! [/dark expression. ] How disappointing.

Sleep Mode Kai:

<BEFORE FIGHT> 1)…Wait, we’re really doing this? We’re really doing this? 2) Ugh, I’m too tired to fight, can you not. 3) Get away from me, I’m not in my top form for this.

<VICTORY> 1) —Wait, how did you lose?! 2) Glad to know I can still defend myself like this… 3) Ooooi, see, you shouldn’t pick fights with people smaller than you.

<LOOSE> 1) gh… Do you feel good defeating me at my most vulnerable? 2) Oh. You beat me when I was at my weakest. How noble, you must be so proud. 3) Dammit, dammit….

‘Young’ Rin:

<TAUNTS> 1) You wanted a fight, I’m givin’ it to ya! 2) Oi, watch it! 2) No way I’m gonna go easy on ya!

<VICTORY> 1) Ha! Told ya I’d win! 2) Y’gave it your best shot, but it ain’t good enough! 3) Did y’not believe me when I said I wouldn’t be holdin’ back??

Glitch Mode Kai :

<VICTORY> 1) [/grabs the opponent from the neck with an unnaturally wide grin. ] It’s a S H A M E it must E N D this way…~ HAHAHA! [/screen goes black. ] 2) To think, you believed you could beat me. How s t u p i d could you get? 3) Oh, but I ’ M N O T D O N E W I T H Y O U Y E T . [/scarf arms grab the opponent, slamming them and flinging them a few more times, just making growling glitch noises, maybe the game kinda ‘staticing’ too, maybe some sort of other attack done? before flinging them off screen. This probably goes on longer than it should. He then slowly approaches them.] I’ll kill you. I ’ L L K I L L Y O U.

<LOOSE> 1) [ / ..Silence. He just stares at the person, then glances at the screen. ] 2) [/ Looks at the screen again. ] 3) T H I S I S N ’ T O V E R . [/ game starts freaking out with glitch graphics going on ]

another thought with glitch mode was it being like a, limit break or final…. thingamajig. which i guess would have the victory ones fit more with a final attack thing. THOUGH HONESTLY I WAS LIKE HALF ASLEEP AT THE SAME TIME SO….

Another thought was like, sleep mode being if you used too much BR power, like it’d be a gauge thing, and if you depleted it too much, he’d go into Sleep Mode and be much much more vulnerable.

There was phase 2 Kai talk. So,since it’s almost 5AM, headcanon ramblings from Skype will be posted here.

[3:47:43 AM] ☆ Teru: He’d generally supposed to be like, yeah creepier, more merciless, and more aloof and cold generally. And then of course his glitches make him more malicious anyway— Him not humoring Kaitou there I guess would just be a small part of it :’D

[3:48:05 AM] ☆ Teru: At the same time, he would still care for the fams, but likely not show it in the same way, or be affectionate about it…

[3:49:05 AM] ☆ Teru: ponders. It’d likely be shown more in some sort of acts of protection? That might be… quite overdoing it…

[3:50:42 AM] ☆ Teru: Stuff like that, but considering the circumstances with sleep mode there’s not as much opportunity for some of that to be shown. Aside from I suppose watching them—or rin in this case— in her sleep

[3:53:06 AM] ☆ Teru: I’m not sure if he’d still cook though :’D It’s unlikely, and if any food came up he’d straight up BR it and leave it. It’d probably still taste the same as his homecooked, but since he’d be rather… expressionless and emotionless about it it might make it seem different anyway.

[3:55:53 AM] ☆ Teru: With the aforementioned protection— and I suppose the fact he’d even bother BRing food and ice cream for them— as well as things like the idea of him properly putting Rin to bed if she’s sleeping next to it, would show that he still cares. meanwhile, towards other people, he’d be incredibly cruel and highly likely to cause some sort of harm.

In fact, he might ignore them. … but ignoring them so e doesn’t target them, while if others were to get on his bad side he’d insta-kill them. And otherwise, use his much more powerful powers to really, really screw with people. Like, think Silent Hill.

[4:06:04 AM] ☆ Teru: I suppose a way fams would notice affection then would be like… I dunno, the fact he isn’t killing them??? If they get sucked up in the silent hill-esque screwings with they’re lead on a comparatively safer, mild path—?? but even then he might still mess with them out of curiosity, but not as badly as with ‘unimportant’ people.

[4:09:31 AM] ☆ Teru: I can imagine he might end up being quite brutal with other people… and like Cheese, he’d likely stick in his ‘regular’ BR form— like, phase 2, as opposed to sticking in his phase 3. Phase 3 would show up if he’s wanting to terrify someone or if… well, no mercy.
